Edward O’Hare, CEO

Edward O’Hare joined Koniag Development Corporation (KDC) in 2011 as the company’s Senior Vice President, Technology Business Sector and as President and CEO of Arlluk Technology Solutions (ATS). He has extensive experience in the IT and telecommunications sectors, including leading strategic planning and supply operations for government organizations.

After service in the U.S. Army, Mr. O’Hare began a long career in both the public and private sectors. His positions included Assistant Commissioner for the Integrated Technology Services at the General Services Administration (GSA) where Mr. O’Hare managed GSA IT and telecommunications contracts, which totaled more than $22 billion a year. In the private sector, Mr. O’Hare worked with government consulting contractors. Prior to coming to the Koniag family of companies, Mr. O’Hare served as vice president of business development for Dynanet Corporation.

Mr. O’Hare possesses more than 35 years of IT and government contracting experience. He also led the development of many groundbreaking systems, including the GSAAdvantage and GSAAuctions electronic commerce systems. He was proud to lead IT operations for the 2008 U.S. presidential transition.
 



Gene Zapfel, President

As President of Arlluk, Gene will run all facets of this new SBA 8(a) Certified business including strategic leadership for the company by working with the Koniag Board and the Executive Management team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies, driving the advancement of the Arlluk mission and objectives.  He will lead the delivery of information technology services for client success, revenue, profitability and growth of Arlluk.

Prior to this assignment, Zapfel was President of Koniag Services, Inc. (KSI) which is another subsidiary Koniag company. Previously, he held executive positions in both large and small organizations where he expanded customer bases by driving new services and solutions into new and existing markets. He has built several new business units from the ground up and has established multiple self-sustaining organizations. Zapfel held executive positions at Unisys Federal Systems and Booz Allen Hamilton, focused on revenue growth and management within the government IT sector in civilian, defense, and intelligence markets.

 



Kelly Mire, Vice President

Kelly Mire, a 25-year veteran of federal IT and management consulting services, has joined Koniag Government Services (KGS) as President of Koniag Services Inc.(KSI) and Vice President of Arlluk Technology Solutions. 

Prior to this appointment, Mire held executive leadership positions with large management consulting organizations where he drove the expansion of client relationships by developing and delivering complex IT services and solutions. He has successfully built and managed large and highly proficient capability teams working across a broad and diverse client portfolio, consistently focused on delivering valued results within mission critical technology programs.  Mire held executive leadership positions at Deloitte Consulting and BearingPoint, focused on revenue growth and management within public sector IT for health, defense and civilian markets.

 


 

MaryAnn Hoadley, Senior Vice President - Business Development

MaryAnn joined Koniag Government Services Sector (KGS) in 2016 as Senior Vice President of Business Development where she is responsible for strategic business pursuits leveraging the collective capabilities of the KGS family of companies to achieve corporate growth goals.  She has oversight of business development processes and activities, including coordination of capture management and proposal management.

MaryAnn has over 30 years' experience successfully leading federal business development organizations of prominent federal contracting businesses emphasizing information technology, management consulting and engineering services supporting both Civilian and Defense clients.  She is responsible for establishing and executing Koniag's strategy for continued growth through business development, strategic positioning and corporate communication.

MaryAnn is PMP certified and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
